Here's the skinny:
I want this website to be the kind you check in on regularly because it's constantly giving you new fun stuff to waste your time on, because that's the kind of websites I like. I want to give you guys new music, new art, games, videos, whatever I can make. You guys are the hardcore Danny Saucedo fans, the ones who listen to the songs so much you can correct me while I'm playing. You're the ones who figure out my little jokes, notice the connections and self-references. You're the reason I spend an extra six months on artwork.
I want you guys to have a sense of involvement with the World that is Danny. That's why I made the Lab Rat Fans (5 points if you can figure out why I chose that name). By being a Lab Rat Fan, you are signing up to be part of a never ending game (I just lost the game). By participating in games and contests and challenges posted to the site, you earn points. When you've earned enough points, you can cash them in for personalized stuff. I'm thinking hand-made t-shirts, a recording of a cover song of your choice, a drawing, a sculpture, who knows what else.
That's part of where the fan club name came from: This is an experiment. This is something we'll create as a community. Don't you want to get in on the ground floor?

How do I join?
Send me an email with the subject: "MAKE ME A LAB RAT." In the body of the email, tell me a little about yourself, include your favorite Danny Saucedo song and/or album, and pick your Lab Rat username. You'll get 5 points for joining and you'll get extra points for a clever username. Your name and your score will be posted to this page.
What's my first step?
There are puzzles. The puzzles on the site will range from traditional puzzle, but I know not everyone is good at crosswords, acrostics, anagrams and the like. That's why some of the activities will be artistic, trivia, non-sequitir, information-scavenger-hunts and things I haven't even thought of yet.
